[Trivia] U-KISS' Kevin

Kevin attended Monte Vista High School.

Kevin has an older sister called Deanna.

Kevin has an uncle called Emmanuel Woo who is an actor and opera singer who lives in Germany.

Kevin is friends with Esna the Singer.

Kevin started working with VJ Isak in the booth on Pops in Seoul in Febuary 2009.

Kevin can play the guitar.

Kevin used to be in the rotatory group Xing with Kibum. Kevin debuted on December 14 2006. Other members of Xing included Yong Junhyung of Beast and all members of DaeGukNamAh (Park Hyunchul, Lee Suhoon, Woo Hyunmin, Lee Injoon, Jeon Jihwan).

While in Xing, Kevin rapped for a song about a wooden roller coaster.

Kevin left Xing only four months before the debut of U-Kiss.

When Kevin joined U-Kiss he was the foreigner with the best Korean and he often translated for Alexander and Eli, and spoke with them in English.

For most of his professional career, Kevin has had blonde hair.

Because of his fluent English, he is often asked to sing English songs on radio shows etc. early on in his professional career (In your hands Eng Ver. , Kevin singing “One Last Cry” on radio)

Artists Kevin likes include Chris Brown, Rain, and Exile.

Kevin’s favourite member of SNSD is Seohyun.

Kevin is renowned to have the nicest hands in U-Kiss, characteristic for his long and slender fingers.

Kevin often prays before he eats.

Kevin is known for eating very slowly.

Kevin has an interesting jump-rope “style”.

If Kevin had a girlfriend, he’d want to sing a song just for her somewhere romantic.

When asked about something that he must do without fail every day, Kevin mentioned tweeting, and AJ jokingly said that “Kevin’s girlfriend is Twitter” and Kevin admits to what AJ said.

In the same interview, when asked what is something he can’t live without, Kevin first said he cannot live without his members. But AJ pointed out that Twitter might be a more realistic answer, and Kevin got embarrassed even though he did admit that Twitter is important to him as well (but his members are more important).

Kevin really wants to sing love songs with true emotion, but he feels he cannot do this yet since he hasn’t had his first love.

The first song Kevin performed in front of a crowd was Let It Be, by The Beatles (at his middle school graduation.)

Kevin can play the piano.

Kevin wrote the English lyrics to “In Your Hands”, “Forget Our Memories”, and “My Girl”.

If his future girlfriend was upset, he would bake her a cake or make her dinner. Alexander asked him if he knew how to bake. He said no.

His original ideal type was Beyonce. Now it’s Sandara Park of 2NE1.

Three things that he keeps with him are a bible study book given to him by Brian Joo, an mp3 player, and a picture of his family. More recently, he started carrying a mirror everywhere.

Used to sing in church and was in a youth praise team back in America.

If he hadn’t become a singer, he would have been a doctor.

Kevin didn’t tell his friends in America that he was auditioning to be a singer in Korea.

If Kevin can be another member for a day, he’d want to be Eli, because Kevin thinks Eli is manly and he wants to be more manly.

Kevin thinks that Dongho’s acting in “My Black Mini Dress” was cute.

Kevin would like to play a prince if he has a chance to act.

Kevin had the most trouble with pronunciations with the lyrics of the Japanese version of ‘0330’. The line he had the most trouble with was ‘急いで投げかけた視線’.

Kevin was shocked by the Washlette in Japan when U-Kiss first started living there.

He thinks that the food in Osaka is delicious, he especially liked yakisoba and takoyaki.

Soohyun said in a magazine interview that Kevin owns many pairs of sunglasses.

According to Hoon, Kevin likes to talk.

AJ thinks that Kevin is easy going because he’s always smiling.

Kevin thinks that ghosts and bugs are scary.

Recently in his solo interview with Elle Girl, he said he’s more afraid of bugs than ghosts.

According to Soohyun, Kevin, Kiseop and Dongho are the most popular amongst college student/younger fans.

Soohyun thinks that one of Kevin’s shortcomings is that Kevin’s face is too small.

Kevin likes his small face and his smile, but doesn’t like his skinny body.

Kevin want to date because he wants to sing songs like ‘0330’ with more emotions.

Kevin’s ideal type is someone who’s bright and can understand him.

Kevin tends to laugh at weird moments.

If Kevin has a girlfriend, he would cook for her.

Kevin would choose Eli as his boyfriend if he was a girl, as he feels that Eli is the type that always protects you and takes good care of you.

If Kevin was a girl he wouldn’t date Dongho because he feels that Dongho would just be cute and not manly enough.

Kevin wants to challenge himself in writing, composing and acting.

According to the members, Kevin doesn’t wear underwear underneath his pajama pants.
