[NEWS] Super Junior’s Kim Kibum Discusses His Love for Acting in CeCi Interview

Super Junior‘s Kim Kibum recently showed off his handsome looks in a photoshoot for the June issue of fashion magazine, CeCi.

Kim Kibum is currently busy filming tvN‘s ‘I Love Italy‘, in which he is being praised for his acting skills. It was evident in his photoshoot as he naturally showed off his different appeals.

Kim Kibum reminded fans of his innocent and childish side with a playful expression as he dons a Mickey Mouse shirt in one photo. In the other released photo, Kibum shows off a different side with his perfect visuals and his hair  styled into a cowlick, in addition to displaying his muscular arms.

In the interview, Kim Kibum revealed, “There were some concerns that I could lead the show with my first main character role. However, there were a lot of things I learned from Han Suk Kyu sunbae while filming ‘Tree with Deep Roots‘. Even though it is difficult filming throughout the whole night, I became excited again after thinking ‘I’m acting’. Acting is enjoyable overall.”

Kim Kibum is currently starring in ‘I Love Italy’ as his 14-year-old self becomes a 25-year-old man overnight.

[NEWS] Girls’ Generation Becomes First Korean Girl Group to Become Million Seller in Japan

Girls’ Generation has yet again set a record in Japan!

According to the announcement made on June 9 by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, Girls’ Generation’s album “Girls’ Generation” released June 1 of last year sold over one million copies and was given the honorable title of “Million.”

This is the first time a Korean girl group achieved such a feat. BoA is the only solo female singer who had set the record of a million seller before. Following BoA, Girls’ Generation has set a meaningful new record in Japan.

Girls’ Generation rose to the top of the Weekly Oricon Chart with the release of their first album in Japan. The girls also set the record of greatest sales for first album release by an international singer.  Simultaneously, the girls also set the record of being the first Korean girl group to claim the number one spot on the Weekly Oricon Chart. Finally, a year after, they have sold over one million albums.

Girls’ Generation will be releasing their newest Japanese single “Paparazzi” on June 27. The teaser for the music video was released at the end of May. The short teaser showed the nine girls heading toward the performance venue donning fashionable trench coats.

In related news, for the past month, Girls’ Generation’s first unit group TaeTiSeo actively promoted their song “Twinkle” and sweeped various music shows and charts.

[NEWS] U-KISS Makes Their Inkigayo Comeback With “Believe”

U-KISS made their comeback performance on Inkigayo today with their song “Believe.” The song is the title track to recently released special album “The Spacial To KISSME.”

While the group had just released their EP “Dora Dora” in April, they have already prepared this special album to thank fans for their love and support. Released on June 5, the album contains six songs. The title track “Believe” was composed and written by AJ.

After U-KISS completes their special album activities in June, they will do a tour that will go through 9 different cities in Japan such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo.
