The day after U-Kiss’ debut stage in Japan (080816), Hyungjoon surprised U-Kiss by showing up at the event with flowers for Kibum. Kibum burst into tears.

Kibum was born December 29th, 1990

Kibum is fluent in Japanese and can write fluently in hirogana, katakana and Kanji. He learnt this simply because of his interest in Japan.

Kibum once famously said that if he wasn’t in U-Kiss he would probably be sitting on his couch eating tangerines/oranges.

Kibum said in U-Kiss’ first Chinese interview with Sina that he was embarrassed that he could only say his name, and ask “have you eaten?” (which is a pun on his name). He said he would most certainly learn more Chinese. That was 2008. In Taiwan recently Kibum showcased his failure to follow through with these plans by saying only “Hello I’m 基范 (pronounced like chee fan). Have you eaten? (sounds like “chee fan luh ma?”) .” And no other Chinese whatsoever.

Kibum and his brother started the company HnB company sometime in 2009. It was started as a music producing company. It originally stood for Hyung and Bum company. He played some of the music they produced in All About U-Kiss, the episode they went to Kibum’s house.

He’s wanted to be a lot of things - a business man, a prosecutor, a chef, a singer.

He was apparently in a Japanese drama before debut - it was mentioned in one interview when they went to Hong Kong but I haven’t seen anything else about it.

Out of all the members, Kibum farts the most.

Kibum has a Nintendo Wii. He’s very good at it.

Kibum makes bad omelettes, but great puns.

Kibum is known for his clever wordplay, and witty remarks. And his body.

Kibum also plays pranks often.

Kibum carries a shaver around with him in his bag, because he’s so hairy that sometimes he needs to shave a few times a day.

In his apartment which he shares with his brother, they have a whole room devoted to clothes.

Kibum’s dog Choco is a toy poodle. They got Choco when he was very small and quite sick. They nursed him back to health and now Choco is a fat dog.

Kibum and Hyungjoon dress choco up in dresses sometimes.

Kibum’s hyung, Hyungjun, was the one who bought and registered Kibum’s car for him, because Kibum felt it was difficult to have to walk, that it was difficult for everyone to have to walk, but now, since he has his car, that is not the case anymore.

Kibum wants to become a kind and warmhearted person that can accept everyone.
