[NEWS] Girls’ Generation’s Jessica Reveals Her Thoughts on Solo Activities and The Summer

Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica held an interview for the July edition of fashion magazine ‘@star1‘.

In the interview, Jessica was asked to give her thoughts on the group members’ acting careers to which she stated, “I am always very proud. I am supporting them with all of my heart. I know we are all working on our solo activities, but we have not forgotten about Girls’ Generation. There are still a lot of things we need to accomplish as 9-member group Girls’ Generation.”

Jessica recently tackled acting for the first time with a role in KBS drama ’Wild Romance‘ which aired its final episode in February of this year.

Furthermore, Jessica, who has been nicknamed “ice princess” revealed how she plans to endure the heat of this summer. She stated, “I love ice cream and Patbingsu (Korean shaved ice dessert) to the point that I frequently eat it even in the winter. Honestly, I am fearful of the summer. I don’t know how I am going to survive. I think I will bear through this summer by eating ice cream and patbingsu in a cool place“.

In related news, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Sooyoung, Seohyun, and Jessica showcased their stylish fashion and charm in the July edition of ‘@star1′.

[NEWS] SNSD Sooyoung Praises Yuri and Jessica’s Acting

Currently preparing for her official acting debut in the upcoming tvN drama, The Third Hospital, Girls’ Generation (SNSD) talked about the acting career of her fellow members as well as her own.

Caught in a paparazzi concept pictorial, Sooyoung showed off her natural beauty and gorgeous fashion style on Fashion & Lifestyle magazine, @star1 for its July edition.

Whether she was walking the dog, sniffing the sweet scent of perfume, or making herself look beautiful in front of the mirror, Sooyoung seemed to be having a pleasant time.

During the interview for @star1, she talked about the recent success of her fellow members’ acting careers.

“Yuri and Jessica recently made their debut as drama actors. I cheered them on a lot. Despite it being their first time, they did so well that I was really surprised.” She said, “Yoona has been acting for a really long time, so she already shaped her own style.”

When asked if she was afraid of getting compared to the other members, Sooyong replied, “I don’t feel burdened about getting compared with the other girls. I think I just need to do my best to reveal my own personality.”

She added, “Before I became a singer, I actually tried for many auditions for acting because I had a dream of becoming an actress. I want to keep challenging myself not just as a singer, but as an actress.”

[NEWS] Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae get ′Married′ in New Teaser?

While only two teaser member teaser photos for Super Junior’s impending comeback have been released, one creative fan has utilized the two to make a humorous new picture.

Following the June 21 and June 22 release of the teaser photos for Eunhyuk and Donghae respectively, user ‘fay ckyuhyuk’, humorously combined the two pictures to form a new, rather romantic image.

In the new picture, Super Junior’s Donghae looks as though he is comforting a distraught Eunhyuk who leans his head against Donghae’s chest. The new image could pass as a romantic movie poster for the two Super Junior members.

Since its posting the photo has been shared numerous times online with netizens commenting with, “They’re finally getting married!!!”, “Eunhae… this is their marriage proof” and “That’s actually so cool LOL.”

[NEWS] Donghae Appears in a Pure Lace Veil for New Super Junior Teaser

We had flowers, and now it’s lace.

Super Junior’s Donghae put on some mesh and a lace veil in Super Junior’s new teaser photo for its upcoming sixth studio album.

Super Junior has been releasing teaser photos of the members since June 21 through its official webpage, SMTown’s Facebook page and Super Junior’s Facebook page under the theme ‘Beautiful men’.

              

Donghae’s teaser was the second to be released on June 22, following Eunhyuk’s.

The teasers all seem to be about fantasy and mystery, heightening expectations on how the concept will actually fit into the music.

Donghae has also been garnering support for his solo ventures with his new acting role in Channel A’s drama Ms. Panda and Mr. Porcupine.

Super Junior’s album, Sexy, Free & Single, will be released online on July 1 through music sites such as Melon, Genie and Naver Music.

The offline version will be available on July 4.

[NEWS] Kim Heechul Selected as The ‘Prettiest’ Male Idol

Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul was selected as the “prettiest” male idol by netizens.

                                        

Recently, the results of  an online poll asking voters to choose which male idol they thought was prettier than the average female were revealed.

Although Kim Heechul was up against a lot of other attractive, “flower boy” contenders, he was still able to come out on top.

Heechul was up against other beautiful celebrities, such as Shin Hyesung, JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong, Kim Hyun Joong, Yoo Ho Suk, F.T. Island‘s Lee Hongki, INFINITE‘s L, Jang Geun Suk, and SHINee‘s Taemin.

Netizens who saw the results of the poll commented, “There are so many male celebrities who are prettier than girls,” “Do girls have to be jealous of boys now?” and “Of course Kim Heechul, he gets prettier every time I see him.”
